Information
All students at WHS can and are encouraged to submit to Folio. You do not have to be an editor to make it into the magazine. All submissions are anonymous-- the site does not disclose to Folio staff who submitted a piece, so there is no bias. Your personal information will be hidden from us until a decision is made. Entries that make it into the magazine will be properly credited.
When submitting, please make sure that you do not write your name in the file name or in the document itself. Instead, enter the information in the form below, so we can keep our critiques unprejudiced.
Again, only submission related info will be available to us before review. Your name, homeroom and email information are all confidential.
Submit!
Now what?
Upon submitting the form, our site should tell you if upload was successful or not. Folio meets every Monday to critique and decide whether a submission makes it into the magazine. After decisions are made, Folio will send a letter to your homeroom. Rejected submissions are deleted from our system, along with your personal info.
Don't take rejection personally -- oftentimes, a submission just needs a little more work. This year, we will include constructive feedback in the letters. We strongly encourage you to make the changes that you want and to resubmit your work!
If for some reason online submissions aren't working, you're welcome to submit a paper copy to Mr. Silbergeld in room 232 or 113 or Mr. Horn in the Project '79 Office.
Email?
We ask you to include your email just in case your submission doesn't work correctly. We won't email you for any other reason, including acceptance/rejection.
